The New Generation Youth Council (NGYC) is a year-round youth leadership and development program serving individuals ages 16–25 across South Florida. The program provides structured
leadership training, workforce readiness preparation, community service opportunities, and mentorship designed to promote academic persistence, career exploration, and civic responsibility. NGYC intentionally engages youth in positive, accountable environments that
Serve approximately 300 youth annually across three counties
Achieve an 85–90% participant retention rate

Accountability: Missing 2+ consecutive sessions or failing goals may suspend the stipend for that week.
Renewal Cycle: Eligibility reviewed every 6 weeks based on performance and need.
Incentive Pathway: Exemplary Leads for 3+ months may be promoted to Team Coordinator ($250/week).
Active Participation: At least 10 hours per week across events, outreach, tutoring, admin, or promotions.
Training & Check-ins: Attend weekly team check-in or training session.
Task Completion: Complete all assigned deliverables for the week.
Conduct: Punctual, reliable, team-oriented; represents NGVII positively.
Documentation: Sign Volunteer Agreement; submit weekly timesheet/activity log.
Commitment: Minimum 4-week commitment to maintain eligibility.
Recruitment: Has recruited 7+ active volunteers and maintains their engagement.
Time: Commits 12–15 hours per week including planning, coordination, and check-ins.
Accountability: Ensures team submits weekly progress reports and timesheets.
Leadership: Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
Attendance: Attends all leadership briefings/trainings and reports weekly to the Program Coordinator.
Agreement: Signs Leadership Agreement acknowledging responsibilities & stipend expectations.
